Human Within

The interactive VR feature film Human Within produced Signal Space Lab Canada, explores brain–computer interfaces in a sci-fi immersive narrative. Next to director Anne Weigel and DP Philip Reinhold, submerged.lab was also responsible for the editing and color grading of the project. It premiered at FIVARS (Toronto) in October 2024 and launched on Meta Quest in early 2025. Media coverage includes a feature by CBR, which praised the project’s ambition to “push the envelope” of VR storytelling and a Q&A with director Anne Weigel and Creative Director Avi Winkler focusing on the integration of immersive cinema and interactivity.
