Who we are?

submerged.lab is a creative partnership between filmmakers Anne Weigel and Philip Reinhold. Over the past two decades, they’ve built an international body of work that spans broadcast documentaries, feature-length explorations, VR experiences, and branded editorial.

Their projects take place across the globe, from Las Palmas in the Canary Islands to Indian cave systems, from Mediterranean islands to research vessels off the Arctic coast. The common thread: human stories at the intersection of nature, science and society.
